Thai sport authority to study the ban of students box

Pemphon Phuthornjai, Sport Authorities of Thailand(SAT)’s director of boxing committee, said the SAT will study the research saying children will be harmed if they were trained and do boxing when they were too young.

Pemphon said the committee will find solution and reasons that what children will get if they are be trained.

“Boxing can be seeing as sport, exercise, shows or even career that make money for boxers,” Pemphon said.

“We have strong and well-protected for boxing among children and girls,” Pemphon said adding that the boxing will not cuase problem.

Thai education minister last week said the ministry will ban children aged under 15 years old from training boxing and boxing for living as they are too young and the boxing may cause damage to their eyes and their nerves.
