Their names have been sent to the Olympic Committee of Thailand and they are under training for the tournament. But the Olympic Committee of Thailand was removed their names to put under the Muaythai Association which successfully selected only two boxers. Coaches and trainers from the Amateur Muaythai have also been replaced by staff from the Muaythai Association. Thawee said the decision by Olympic Committee shown unfair treatment to Amateur Muaythai Association which is under the Patronage of Thai Royal Crown Prince of Thailand. The two associations earlier claimed they both are under the Patronage. Thawee said he has asked the Olympic Committee to review their decision before his association will seek other measures to handle with the problem. |
