Thai challenger becomes new WBC strawweight champion

 Thai challenger Oleydong Kratingdang Gym win unanimously in the WBC strawweight fight against Thai-born Eagle Den.

The young challenger started well, controlling the game with the combination of jabs and hooks until Japanese-supported boxer, Eagle Den, has to changed tactics to earns the points.

But Oleydong’s fitness still caused problem for Den and the fight ended with all three referees from Australia, Philippines and the United States gave challenger a victory.

Oleydong became Thai 34th champion.

Fight’s promoter Virat Vachiraratanawong said Oleydong fight as planned but however there were several points needed to be improved. He was planning Oleydong first defending  match in his home town of Trang but the details and the opponent have not been discussed yet.
