The Lumpini-Ratchadamnerm event on August 6 is expected to generate a good profit amid the downturn time of muaythai, but its organizer Songchai Ratanasuban may not get much share of the cake, say insiders.

The much-anticipated muaythai event that pits fighters from Thailand’s top two stadiums against each other is hosted at the Ratchadamnern Stadium with promoter Songchai as the chief organizer.

Songchai, as well as the executives of Ratchadamnern, has been visiting various muaythai gyms to ensure readiness of the fighters.

The event is expected to generate a good amount of earning, possibly a record-breaking figure of more than three million Baht, said muaythai writer Singdong of Muay Siam newspaper.

He said although some of the earning will be donated to the families of victim in the unrest in the southernmost provinces of Thailand, the remaining should still be good rewards for the promoters.

However, insiders point out Songchai does not seem to have made an agreement on revenue sharing with the stadium, and this may lead to some squabble once the busy event organizing task is over.

Then, the spectators may be lucky to enjoy the match of the promoter vs. the stadium as well, wrote Singdong.

แม้กระทั้งเวทีมวยลุมพินี ก็ยังช่วยหนุนเต็มที่ ขนาด "บิ๊กอี๊ด" พล.ต.เฉลิมเกียรติ โพธิ์ทองนาค เจ้ากรมสวัสดิการ ยังลงทุนไปเยี่ยมเยียนนักมวยในสังกัดที่จะข้ามวิกไปโชว์ เพื่อเป็นกำลังใจ ทั้งที่งานนี้ไม่มีส่วนเอี่ยวในเรื่องรายได้อะไรเสียด้วยซ้ำ

แต่เมื่อพูดถึงผลประโยชน์ ก็มีการคาดหมายกันว่า รายการนัดนี้น่าจะทำยอดได้ถล่มทลายเป็นสถิตขอลวิกแอร์ได้เหมือนกัน
 
เบาะๆ ที่คาดกันไว้ก็น่าจะทะลุหลักสองล้านครึ่ง เผลอๆ อาจจะทะลุสามล้านก็เป็นได้
 
ยังไม่ทันชกแต่เห็นตัวเลขแล้วมันก็เลยพานให้น่าคิดว่า หลังจากมอบรายได้ช่วยเหลือชาวปักต์ใต้แล้ว งานนี้ก็น่าจะมีกำรี้กำไรกันไม่น้อย

แต่ศึกยกทีมครั้งนี้ไม่รู้ว่าวิกแอร์กับบิ๊กซ้งเคลียร์กันมาก่อนบ้างแล้วหรือเปล่า เพราะเท่าที่ขาเม้าท์เขาเล่ากันนั้น ทั้งบิ๊กซ้งและบิ๊กแจงต่างก็ยังสงวนท่าทีไม่ได้มีการเจรจาเรื่องนี้กันสักที ยิ่งเห็นจุ๊แจง โดดมาชมมวยซ้อมด้วยแล้วหลายคนก็เลยชักเสียวไส้ ว่า "ค่าต๋ง" อาจจะสูงกว่าปกติ หรือไม่ก็ "บิ๊กซ้ง" จะต้องทำงานฟรีหรือเปล่า
 
กลัวเสร็จศึกมวยยกทีมแล้วเดี๋ยวจะมีมวยบิ๊กไฟต์ต่อคิวแถมอีกคู่เท่านั้นแหละ
