Samson Tor Buamad of Thailand has defeated China’s Luo Yu Jie by decision to retain her WIBA international flyweight champion title yesterday.

The match of Samson and Luo, held at the northern Thai city of Sukhothai on June 17 at, started with a lot of action early on. The Thai champion, however, began to gain the upper hand after the fifth round when she focused on beating Luo at her body.

The Chinese pugilist spent some time circling around Samson, trying to avoid contact, but finally dashed in to clash with Samson in the last round when she realized her score was behind the Thai. The bout ended with Samson as the winner by scores of 99-91, 100-91, and 98-93.

In the same event, Thai fighter Mongkoldej Patthawikorn Gym knocked out Ireland’s Andrew Doyld, female boxer Petch-uma Tor Buamad defeated Nong Benz Sit Kor Pol1996 by decision, and Petchsairung Tor Buamad defeated Nong Bow Sitmansion.

แซมซั่นชนะขาดป้องกันแชมป์เงา

แซม ซั่น ต.บัวมาศ อดีตแชมป์สภามวยโลกหญิง ยังคงความแข็งแกร่งไล่ต้อนเอาชนะคะแนน หลัว อี้ เจี๋ย ผู้ท้าชิงชาวจีนเอกฉันท์ ป้องกันแชมป์ "เงา" สมาคมมวยหญิงนานาชาติ(WIBA) ในการชกที่ เวทีมวยชั่วคราว อนุสาวรีย์พญาลิไท จ.สุโขทัย เมื่อ 17 มิ.ย.ที่ผ่านมา

การชกดุเดือดตั้งแต่ระฆังเริ่มยกแรกเป็นต้นไป แต่ฝั่งแซมซั่นเริ่มได้เปรียบหลังจากยก 5 เป็นต้นไปโดยหันมาเน้นลำตัวจนสาวจีนทนแรงเสียดสีไม่ได้ต้องถอยร่นประคองตัว ไปรอบๆ เวที กระทั่งยกสุดท้าย เจี๋ยรู้ว่าคะแนนเป็นรองส่ายหัวขวิดเข้าใส่ จน "เจ้าส้ม" ตั้งรับแทบไม่ทันครบ 10 ยก แซมซั่น ต.บัวมาศ ชนะคะแนนเอกฉันท์ 99-91, 100-91, 98-93
