Pongsaklek's manager not concerned by Shiro Kameda's ban lift

Thai boxing manager Wirat Wachiratanawong says he is not worried that Japanese boxing figure Shiro Kameda has been allowed to return to the sport.

Wirat said it would be up to his boxer Pongsaklek Wonjongkam whether he could beat WBC flyweight champion Koki Kameda, Shiro’s oldest son, at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo on March 27.

The Thai manager said he is not concerned that Shiro may return to his former job as trainer to his three boxer sons. Shiro’s license was taken away by the Japan Boxing Commission (JBC) for abusing the referee in the match of his middle son Daiki Kameda and fellow Japanese pugilist Daisuke Naito in 2007.

Shiro reportedly instructed Daiki to use elbows and other prohibited moves against Naito. The notorious boxing manager also instigated the supporters of his family to fight with other boxing fans in the stadium, according to a report.

The JBC, however, has recently lifted his ban after prohibiting him to act as trainer for two years and five months.

In addition to the match of Koki Kameda and Pongsaklek, the Tokyo event on March 27 will also host the title bout of WBC stawweight champion Oleydong Sithsamerchai of Thailand and Japanese challenger Yasutaka Kuroki.

Both Pongsaklek and Oleydong have been training themselves well, said their confident manager Wirat.

หลังจากที่ถูกทาง JBC แขวนไม่ให้ทำหน้าที่เทรนเนอร์อย่างไม่มีกำหนดมานับตั้งแต่เดือนตุลาคมปี 2007 ในไฟต์ที่ ไดกิ คาเมดะ ขึ้นชิงแชมป์โลกกับ ไนโตะ ไดซึเกะ เจ้าของแชมป์ฟลายเวต WBC ชาติเดียวกันในขณะนั้น ซึ่งชิโร่ ผู้พ่อขึ้นให้น้ำสอนมวยลูกชาย พร้อมแนะนำให้ใช้แท็คติกกลโกง ทั้งทุ่มคู่ชกและใช้ศอก จนลูกชายถูกตัดแต้ม 4 ครั้งก่อนแพ้คะแนน หนำซ้ำชิโร่ ผู้พ่อตัวแสบยังปลุกระดมให้แฟนคลับยกพวกตีกับแฟนมวยในสนามอีกด้วย จึงทำให้เจบีซี.ลงโทษแบน

ล่าสุดนี้ ทางเจบีซี. พิจารณาคำร้องและยอมคืนใบอนุญาตในการเป็นเทรนเนอร์ให้กับทางชิโร่ ซึ่งอุทธรณ์มาแล้วถึง 2 ครั้ง และมีผลตั้งแต่วันที่ 15 มีนาคมที่ผ่านมา และมีความเป็นไปได้ที่ยอดคุณพ่อตัวแสบจะขึ้นสอนมวยโกกิลูกชายคนโตในการป้องกันแชมป์กับ พงษ์ศักดิ์เล็ก ไก่ย่างห้าดาวยิม ที่จะชกกันในวันเสาร์ที่ 27 มี.ค.

ทางด้าน "เสี่ยเน้า"วิรัตน์ วชิรรัตนวงศ์ ผจก.ของ พงษ์ศักดิ์เล็ก และ โอเล่ห์ดง ซีพีเฟรชมาร์ท สองศิษย์เอกซึ่งจะบินไปทำศึกรายการเดียวกัน ในวันดังกล่าวที่ อาริอาเกะ โคลอสเซียม ในนครโตเกียว ประเทศญี่ปุ่น ช่อง 7 สี ถ่ายทอดสด เวลา 17.30-19.00 น. กล่าวถึงเรื่องนี้ว่า ตนไม่หวั่นว่า พ่อของโกกิจะขึ้นให้น้ำลูกชายตัวเองหรือไม่ ไม่สำคัญ สิ่งที่ตนสบายใจก็คือตอนนี้ ทั้งพงษ์ศักดิ์เล็ก และโอเล่ห์ดง ฟิตซ้อมดีเต็มที่ พร้อมขึ้นชก จากนี้ไปขึ้นอยู่กับตัวนักชกไทยทั้งสองเท่านั้นว่า จะทำหน้าที่ของตนเองให้สมบูรณ์และคว้าชัยชนะได้หรือไม่เท่านั้น
