Interview with Pongsaklek’s trainer

“Payak cho. Pimol” is the trainer od Pongsaklek Kratingdaeng Gym, the winner of the best sportman of Siam Kila Awards I.

Trainer Payak said “ I had Glaucoma for more 15 years and already operation for 3 times but it’s not feel better and this time the doctor make the appointment to operate again on the day Pongsaklek has to fight in Japan”

“Actually, We train him very well but I don’t want to talk anything… it looks like I try to make the excuse. Pongsaklek, he didn’t fight in plan. I already told him for many times, I told him to jab jab and punch at the middle body but he still fight out of plan. If he fought in plan, I think we win for sure“

“Moreover, if he listen to me and obey in everything … this won’t happen. Pongsaklek is too confidence himself. About the sleeping pills, I already warn him also but he still bought those pills by himself, to taking a lot of pill. It wasn’t good in the long-term. I’m in boxing society. I know about this very well.”

“Actually, after weight-ins just go to bed or if the boxer need to sleep better just take a bath or soak yourself in warm water. It will make us sleepy and sleep very well”

“I really appreciated to have a chance to work with Promoter Wirat Wachiraratanawong, he is very good to me, he always give me the freedom to work on my own way and he trusts me in everything. I spend all of my 10 years experience to train a lot of boxers to be Champion as : Chartchai , Samsan and Pongsaklek but everything is not perfect for me and sometime I slap them, that’s because of I wish them to get success”

“After Pongsaklek lost his belt, he comes to apology me but it’s useless. If he listen to me and obey in everything and not too confidence like that. This thing won’t happened”

Now, Pongsaklek go back to his hometown in Nakorn Rachasima and stop training for a while before come back and train again for his champion belt.

New time: Tuesday: Start 18.15 hr.

In the past, we set boxing to fight first on Friday but fight last on Tuesday.

Now we think we should do it the same so we re-arrange the fight program and set the time earlier. Nothing deep reason more than this.

We hope this new change will make all muaythai audiences pleasure but will check the opinion from the muaythai fans also.
