Thailand mourns for the loss of late Princess Galyani since the New Year comes. All Thais regret for the loss including boxing people who decided to stop organizing the matches for 15 days. But however, the decision has been changed after a week passed, Two Thai boxing stadium, Aom Noi and Channel 7 decided to live its Muaythai matches with the conditions that the fans would have to wear black or white, the colours for mourning. The suspension matches also including amateur boxing fights. Kokiert Promotion which booked the broadcast programmes in the beginning and by the end of January. All have to postponed to Febuary. There is only Galaxy Promotion by Niwat Laosuwanwat which announced PABA defending fight for Poonsawat Krating Dang Gym on 17 January before fighting with his fellow man Sonsak Singchatchawan in March. |

Thai boxer had never failed to claim champion titles for the country since Sod Jitlada, the kingdom’s eight champion, won in 1984. +++Pongsaklek Kratingdang Gym’s lost to Japanese Neito Daisuke had made the country left no champion except female champion Samson Sor Siriporn. +++Fans had to wait until by the end of the year when Oleydong Kratingdang Gym defeated Thai-born but Japanese supported boxer, Eagle Den. +++Buakhao Por Pramuk was one of the perfect boxers which claim his glory aboard. +++His Muaythai art which awarded him K-One champion in 2004 and 2006 and deputy champion in 2005. +++But in 2007, Buakhao may have felt sorry for himself when he lost to Japanese boxer in first round of K-One final. |

Thai female promoter to held matches in eastern town |

Priyakorn Rattanasuban, a Thai famouse female promoter, joins with local businessman for the matches being held in Thailand's eastern province of Chonburi. The matches to be called "Suke M-150 Wansonghchai Pichit Loak" will include the fight between Chonlatarn Aor Piriyapinyo, ABCO Featherweight champion, from Thailad to defend his title against Michale Farerenas while WBC female champion, Winyoo Paradorn Gym will fight against Yuriko Kaewsamrit and WBC junior champion Tai Tor Silachai will meet Jeime Barcelona in the warm-up matches. The matches will be held on 16 January 2008. |

Famous promoter Priyakorn Rattanasuban confirms her support to women boxers. Priyakorn, a daughter of most famous Thai promoter Songchai, said she would continued her support for women boxers. She said she has disappeared from the stadium for a period of time but she has asked her staff to continue supporting women boxers. |

Veteran Somjit Jongjorhor and new comer Sailom Ardee defeated two Indonesian boxers in their first round match in Seagames.
Somjit, Thai flyweight boxer, fight Indonesian Bonic Usak Saveho in the first round when Thai veteran won RSC outclass in third round. He will face Vietnam boxer in the next round. |
