Thailand’s boxing legend Khaosai Galaxy will train PABA super lightweight champion Manfa Luksaikongdin for the upcoming match against Indonesian challenger Jonathan Simamora.

Manfa will defend his title from Simamora in the match scheduled on June 19 at the Southern Association of Thailand in Bangkok on Friday Bangkok. Also part of the event is the title defense of PABA minimumweight champion Kwanjai 3K Battery and Indonesia’s Yanus Emaury.

Manfa’s promoter Niwat Laosuwannawat said he had asked the famed Khaosai, who held a WBA world title from 1984-1991, to help train Manfa and upgrade him to “to the world class standard”.

Khaosai said the training, for both offense and defense, would be easy as Manfa is a southpaw fighter just like him. He said it would not be difficult for the young Manfa to become the world’s top boxer as long as he started an intensive training program early.

He said if Manfa was able to defeat Simamora, he would likely have a chance to challenge for a world title soon.

วันนี้ (10 มิ.ย.) ผู้สื่อข่าวรายงานความเคลื่อนไหวของการป้องกันแชมป์รุ่นซูเปอร์ไลท์เวทพาบา ระหว่าง ม่านฟ้า แกแล็คซี่ เจ้าของเข็มขัดชาวไทยกับ โจนาธาน ซินาโมร่า ผู้ท้าชิงแดนอิเหนา ในวันที่ 19 มิ.ย.ที่สมาคมชาวปักษ์ใต้ ช่อง 7 สีถ่ายทอดสดเริ่มเวลา 15.00 น.

ล่าสุด “แชแม้” นิวัฒน์ เหล่าสุวรรณวัฒน์ โปรโมเตอร์ ที่กำลังจับมือกับ “เป๋ โปรเตอร์” สุชาติ เกิดเมฆ ในการสร้างแชมป์โลก กล่าวว่า ตนได้มอบหมายให้ “ไอ้หมัดทะลวงไส้” เขาทราย แกแล็คซี่ อดีตแชมป์โลกผู้ยิ่งใหญ่ตลอดกาล มาช่วยเป็นเทรนเนอร์ในการติวเข้ม ม่านฟ้า เพื่อให้มีฝีมือให้มีมาตรฐานระดับโลก ก่อนที่จะขึ้นป้องกันแชมป์ครั้งนี้

ขณะ ที่ เขาทราย กล่าวว่า  ม่านฟ้า เป็นมวยถนัดซ้ายเหมือนกับตนทำให้ง่ายต่อการเทรนทั้งในเรื่องการออกหมัดและ การป้องกันตัว ตนเชื่อว่าหากได้รับการติวเข้มตั้งแต่ตอนนี้โอกาสที่จะก้าวเป็นยอดมวยไม่ใช่ เรื่องยากเพราะ ม่านฟ้า ยังมีอายุน้อย และหากไฟต์นี้ผ่านนักชกอิเหนารายนี้ที่มีประสบการณ์สูงไปได้ มั่นใจว่าโอกาสที่จะได้เขย่าบัลลังก์โลกไม่ไกลเกินเอื้อมแน่นอน
