Daughter's return to business may help Songchai handle staff losses

Promoter Songchai Rattanasuban’s recent losses of several long-time staff members and star fighters may be placated by his daughter’s decision to return to muaythai industry.

Songchai, although successful with his career, is losing many of his staff members, most notably Yongyut Lerwisit or “Go Lai”, who took with him fighter Nong Bee Kietyongyut, and commentator Pa Hinkong who mysteriously disappeared from his radio show. Songchai is currently acting as the commentator himself.

However, Songchai’s daughter Priyakorn Rattanasuban, who has a business of her own, is returning to help her father’s business as a promoter.

Priyakorn is planning to penetrate the international market of female muaythai. She trying setting up an international female muaythai association with some of her colleagues from various countries including Czech Republic, Russia, Japan, Hong Kong, Laos, South Korea and the Philippines.

Priyakorn’s muaythai association will work closely with the Woman International Boxer Association (WIBA) on the ranking system.

Anyway about female boxer ranking, www.muayrec.com setting it for one year before.
