Former Thai Army Chief and Thai amateur boxing association turns to politics

General Chetta Tanajaro, former Thai army chief and the chairman of Thai amateur boxing association, announced himself as the leader and a candidate of new political party. Chetta, who was an army chief during 1996-1998, and became politician after his retirement for dissolved  Thai Rak Thai Party, was selected as the leader of Ruem Jai Thai Chart Pattana party, a new party set up for upcoming election late this year. He expressed his confident in running for the December poll saying had leading more than 250,000 soldiers had proved himself as tough man. He said he was ready to become next prime minister but however it is depend on Thai voters who will they vote for.
