After the match with Malignaggi, Hatton is planning to fight Filipino superstar Manny Pacquiao who is scheduled to fight Oscar De La Hoya on December 6 at MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.

Oscar has agreed to lose seven pounds, while Pacquiao would gain to an equal weight. The American legend is also looking to hire Nacho Beristain, currently a trainer of Joan Manueto replace Floyd Mayweather Sr. for the fight with Pacquiao. Mayweather is set to train Hatton.
