The future Lumpini-Ratchadamnern cross-stadium events may no longer be able to recruit many top muaythai fighters, as the stadiums are reportedly looking to choose another promoter rather than allowing veteran Songchai Ratanasuban to continue as event organizer, says a Muay Siam newspaper writer. 

The two cross-stadium events in the recent past have turned out to be tremendously popular and have given a much-needed boost to the declining muaythai sport in Thailand.

The executives of the two stadiums are reportedly very happy with the turnout, as well as the handsome income. They quickly promised to continue the series, but some insiders pointed out that the famous Songchai would not be selected as event organizer on Ratchadamnern’s part, and the position may instead be granted to Chucharoen Rawee-aramwong, who is seen as having much less bargaining power than Songchai.

Without Songchai’s power and network, some people are not convinced that Ratchadamnern Stadium would be able to recruit all the top fighters to one single event like it did when Songchai was involved. The stadium does not have much power over the muaythai camps and fighters and usually has to rely on veteran promoters like Songchai.

In addition, Songchai and Chucharoen themselves may not be so willing to help each other out, as the two were just engaged in a dispute regarding the revenue sharing scheme of the recent cross-stadium event, according to the earlier reports.

It would be quite disappointing if such a rare and popular muaythai series would go downhill prematurely due to organizing problems, said the writer.

แต่เรื่องเงินๆ ทองๆ ก็ยังทำให้เกิดปัญหาตามมาเยอะแยะ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นการ "ขัดลำกล้อง" ระหว่าง "บิ๊กซ้ง" ทรงชัย รัตนสุบรรณ คนจัด กับผู้บริหาร ของเวทีราชดำเนิน จนเป็นข่าวฮือฮาไปหลายวัน

จนถึงเวลานี้แม้ว่าโอกาศในการจัดมวยยกทีมจะมีต่ออย่างแน่นอน แต่สำหรับนัดที่วิกแอร์แล้วโอกาสที่ "บิ๊กซ้ง" ได้รับสิทธิ์เป็นผู้รับผิดชอบคงเหลือไม่มากนัก
 
งานนี้ได้ยินแว่วๆ ว่าหวยอาจจะไปออกที่ "อั้งม้อ" ชูเจริญ รวีอร่ามวงศ์ เสียนี่  พอเป็นอย่างนี้หลายคนก็เลยตั้งขอสงสัยตาม 

ถ้า "บิ๊กซ้ง" ไม่ได้เอี่ยวแล้วมวยเอกจาก "ศึกวันทรงชัย" จะมีชื่อขึ้นป้ายในรายการนี้หรือไม่ เพราะแม้จะเป้นชื่อรายการมวยยกทีม แต่ศักยภาพในการเฟ้นหาตัวนักมวยของวิกแอร์ก็ไม่ได้แข็งโป็กขนาดชี้นกเป็นนกชี้ไม้เป็นไม้ได้เหมือนวิกทหารซะเมื่อไร  แต่คิดกันต่อก็พานจะเหนื่อยแย่ไปซะแล้ว

หรือว่าเส้นทางของมวยยกทีมที่เป็นสุดยอดรายการมวยไทยที่แฟนมวยเฝ้ารอมากที่สุดในยุคนี้

จะคลายมนต์ขลังลงได้อย่างรวดเร็วอะไรจะปานนั้น
