Thai boxer vows to bring home champion title
Friday, 26 October 2007
Thailand’s Fahsang Por Thawatchai vows to bring home the IBF Junior Featherweight title in his weekend match against Canadian holder, Steve Moliter.

Fahsang, currently ranked 5th in the IBF Junior Featherweight, will fight against the title holder from Canada, Steve Moliter, at the casino Rama in Ontario, Canada on Sunday 28 October.

The bout will broadcast live in Thailand through channel 7 at 9.00 am local time.

Team’s head, Pravit Kongtongsamuth, said Fahsang was training hard and will try to finish the match quickly as the fight is being held in Canada. The best way is to win the match by knock out.

Fahsang, who is 2 pounds over weight, said he was most ready for the fight.

“I know this is most important match in my life, I am quite ready for it” he said.

“I will do my best to bring the title to Thailand,” Fahsang added.
