New Thai Champion to consider next fight
Saturday, 01 December 2007

Thai promoter of new WBC Strawweight champion was considering the next defending fight.

Piyarat Vachirarattanawong, a manager of Oleydong Kratingdaeng Gym, said he had received many offers, mostly from Japanese promoters who want to sent their boxers to challenge Oleydong title.

He said he will consider the offers carefully wheather it worths to defend the title outside Thailand.

Piyarat said he himself wants Oleydong to defend his first title here in Thailand for learning experience but if the offers are interesting, he would have sent the champion to fight in Japan next year.

Oleydong wins the title over Japanese-supported boxer Eagle Kyowa or Eagle Den.

Joe Koizumi, Eagle’s manager, said he would love to support Eagle to challenge Oleydong but the title will be held in Thailand.
