Poonsawat Kratingdang Gym defended his PABA title by defeating Filipino boxer. The challenger was trying hard to sent Thai champion down but Poonsawat sent jabs and hooks, called bleeding from the Filipino and won to defend his title by points. It was the first time that PABA use rule of 11 rounds and half a point when the boxers box. Niwat Laosuwanwat, Poonsawat’s promoter, said this match was the last warm-up match by Poonsawat before he fight against his fellow, Somsak Singchatchawan, The winner will gain ranked one in WBO Supperbantamweight who will also authometically fight against the champion, from Panama.
Niwat said he asked Poonsawat to box by tactics rather than winning by knocked out.
The two Thai boxers will fight for booking the place in WBO challenging on 19 March. |
