Thailand's southern Muaythai group allows foreigner boxers to fight for championship ranking. The group was set up the Open Welterweight category for boxers weight under 147 ponds to fight and will first time allow foreign boxers to fight for ranking. The fight will be between Denish Stephan Sasiprabha Gym against Sornsuek Singpatong for vacant Open Welterweight. |

The Amateur Boxing Association of Thailand awarded Thai boxers for their success of 16 golds in the 24th Sea Games. General Taweep Jantaroj, the chairman, said ten men and six women claimed gold medals from the fight during Sea Games. The association spent 500,000 baht (14,700 dollars) for 16 winners and one runner-up. |

Prawet Victory Gym or Singwangcha of Thailand arrived Frankfurt cancern of freezing weather obstruck the weight control. Attaporn Tangnusart, Prawet's manager, said he was soon seeking the sauna for Prawet after his weight was up one kilogramme even though he was on weight control since he left Thailand. He said the weather was so cold with minus two decree which make the weight increased but however he still confident that Prawet could make a suprise and historic victory for Thai fans. |

Pariyakorn Rattanasuban organise the big fight between two famous women boxer in Songchai Day this weekend.
Priyakorn said the big fight on 22 December will be the fight of Nong Nan Dejrat to defend her S-1 title against Nong Pat Kor Saklamppon. There will be another four matches held on the same day. |

Thailand's Naris will organise the PABA championship title challenge. Naris Singwangcha of Naris Promotion said he was organising the big fight between Thai Sirimongkol Singwangcha and Filipino Arnel Porras for PABA vacant Lightweight title on 21 December. He said he was pushing his boxer, Sirimongkol, to return to the ring in a hope that Sirimongkol will success and regain his reputation. |

Promoter Suchart Pisitwutinant from Nakhon Laung Promotion said former champion, David Nakon Laung Promotion will return to the bout for challenging the ABCO vacant Flyweight title in January. He said David, abandoned his Super Flyweight title as he was prepared for WBC match, but he was defeated by Filipino boxer before challenging the title. |

Two boxing associations - The Amateur Muaythai Association of Thailand and Muaythai Association of Thailand show sign of compromise over the right to represent Thai boxers.
AMAT chairman Sakchai Thapsuwan and the chairman of IFMA said he want the problem to be solved soon as Muaythai can easily promote to become international sport and he was ready to discuss with Santipab Intarapat, the chairman of Muythai Association of Thailand, if the two associations would be merged. |
