After going through 100-round warm up training, “Wae Hama” or Denkaosan Kratingdaeng Gym is confident that his new born daughter will bring him luck in his WBA flyweight title fight with Takefumi Sakata in Japan this November 4. “Go-Hong” his skillful trainer admitted that his student is on inferior side. However, Denkaosan still have a chance to win if he follows the set plan which requires brain more than strength. It’s hard to have a knockout but wining on score is still a high chance.

Canada Champion retains his title

Canadian Champion Steve Moliter defeated Thai challenger, Fashang Por Thawatchai, defending his IBF junior featherweight in Canada.

Fashang almost knocked Moliter down in the seventh round but the champion came back strong in the eighth and regained the control of the action later and wining unanimous on points.

The Canadian Kid has improved his record to 25-0 while Thai challenger slipped to 58-9-1 record.

Thai education minister Varakorn Samakoses will banned all schools across the country for training students aged under 15 years old for professional boxing.

Varakorn said according to the Child Watch Project's survey found that almost 1,000 children aged under 18 years old in the country's northeast provinces were involving in boxing matches for living. The youngest age found was seven years old with weight of 24 kilogrammes while girls were also more involve in boxing training as the fight will cost between 50-600 baht (1.43 dollars to 17.14 dollars)

FAHSANG LEFT FOR CANADA READY TO WIN THE CHAMP

 Fahsang Por Thawatchai and his team has already left Bangkok for Canada with confident to defeat the host boxer Steve Molitor and take IBF Junior Featherweight World Champion belt to Thailand. Jimmy, Ekarat Chaichotchoung, the manager, revealed that Fahsang is fully prepared for 24-hour long flight and a freezing 10 degree temperature.

 

Moreover, the team leader, “O Tue” has told Fahsang to fight at his very best and is confident that his boxer’s strength is ready to beat the opponent. Three juries are from the United States while referee from the host country is prohibited.

“Sia Ko” Korkiert Panichchayarom opens his new 5 female professional boxers aiming for the world champion. Their first fight will be included in male world boxing event on October 23 at a makeshift ring in front of Patumthani’s old city hall. The female fighters who should be kept an eye on are “Patomsook Patomphotong” and “Lookpla Sitpetyoo” who have extensive experience in Thai kickboxing as well as international boxing. “Sia-Ko” is planning to place them in 108-pound division the same as Samson-Ying Sor.Siriporn, a famous female WBC world champion.

Beautiful Boxer loses in Netherland

"Nong Toom" Parinya Keitbutsaba, world famous professional muaythai boxer whose story was made into film "Beautiful Boxer" in 2003, had fight in the Netherlands with a local female boxer. Parinya lost quite easily, perhaps because she was a bit too concerned with her beautiful face and body given by the surgeons. Anyway, her fight was full of spectacles as usual.

"It is ok to lose, but just don't mess with my make up," Parinya did NOT say this, although it was probably her thought.

"She was focusing on hitting my face too much," that was how Nong Toom actually put it.
