Two Thais win in Thailand's bouts

 Two Thai boxers won their warm-up and defend match in the latest fights by WBO Asia Pasific.

Rattanachai Sor Vorapin, a former WBO bantamweight champion, fight for a warm-up match against Indonesian boxer. Rattanachai’s left paunch sent Indonesian boxer down in the first round and win over Indonesian in the second round.

Rattanachai will challenge Gerry Penalosa of Phillippines for Bantamweight titile in Febuary.

Oleydong ready for title challenge against Japan-support Thai boxer

 Thai boxer Oleydong Kratingdang Gym was training for next week’s challenge.

Payak Chor Pimon, Oleydong’s trainer said his boxer was fit and training hard in a hope to earn points from referees in the fight against Thai-born Eagle Den, who supported by Japanese promoter in the WBC straw weight bout on Thursday 29 November.

He said Oleydong’s physical was fit more than anytimes because he has been train for more than two months.

Narupol Fairtex returns to the ring in Paris to fight against Wilfred Montagne while Kongpipob Phetyindee will challenge for vacant WBC Muaythai lightweight with Jaeed Kamel.

The seminar between government officials and people in boxing business ended without solution.

In one-day seminar, the government side led by academics and health officials submitted the reports saying the effect from boxing if the boxers were underage. The reports also even boxing is fierce sports but it is less dangerous than football , Rugby or American football.

Thai boxer starts training for WBA challenging against Don King's boxer

 Thai boxer Prawet Victory Gym starts his training course for WBA lightweight challenge against Nicaragua's José Alfaro.

After eye surgery which spent almost 30,000 baht (880 dollars), Prawet started his training course for more than a week.

He will face Alfaro in Germany on 29 December 2007.

Attaporn TangnusartAttaporn Tangnusart from Victory Gym said he confidents Prawet will doing well against Jose who even carried 18 knockout record of 19 victory but has three lost compare with two lost by Privet.

Thai ex-convict successfully defend her title

Thailand’s champion Samson Sor Siriporn successfully defend her WBC light flyweight title for the second time.

Samson again fight against Japan Momo Keseki in Thailand’s temporarily bout in the department store in Bangkok Monday.

Her strong defensive and advanced tactics were enough for Thai champion to wins the match by points.

Another victory also came for Thai boxer, Wandee Singwangcha, who fight for the vacant  flyweight won over her Filipino opponent.

Former Thai champion takes PABA title

 Former Thai Champion Rattanaphon Sor Vorapin spent less than a minute to grab PABA’s flyweight title.

Rattanaphon’s left punch sent Indonesian boxer down in few seconds since the first round started. Rattanaphon also shoot his left punches against his opponent until the referee stop the fight in only 45 seconds in the first round.

WBC Chief to miss Thai ex-convict fight

 Promoter of Thai ex-convict boxer Samson Sor Siriporn said WBC chief will miss Monday’s fight.

“Eddy” Chuwong Toomkit, promoter of Tiger Promotion, said the Jose Sulaiman, WBC president can not come to chair the fight between Thai Samson Sor Siriporn and Japan’s Momo Koseki on Monday.

He said Sulaiman will have to return to his hometown, Mexico, for reciving royal decoration. 

But Sulaiman has sent his representative to Thailand, Eddy added.
